About Baico
Built by Alonso Guevara, a Staff iOS Engineer.
Built solo, with more than 10 years of experience shipping mobile products at scale — the same craft now focused on one problem: helping riders trust their position on the bike.
I created Baico because bike fit should be easier to check, repeat, and understand.
A professional bike fit is still valuable, but most riders make small changes all the time: a new saddle, a different bike, a cleat adjustment, a longer ride that suddenly feels uncomfortable. In those moments, it is hard to know whether the setup is improving or getting worse.
Baico is designed to give riders a practical way to review their position using a short video from an iPhone camera. The app analyzes key body points while you pedal and turns that information into clear, simple guidance.
I ride bikes, and I have spent years building iOS apps. Baico sits at the intersection of those two things.
The goal is not to make bike fitting feel complicated. The goal is to help riders make better decisions with more confidence.
Instead of guessing, you can record, measure, adjust, and compare.
Baico is a solo project, built end to end: product, design, iOS development, motion analysis, and the fitting experience.
The focus is on building something useful, honest, and easy to understand — not replacing experts, not overpromising, and not turning bike fit into a black box.
Baico is starting with simple bike fit checks for seated pedaling position. Over time, the goal is to make the app more helpful, more consistent, and more useful for riders who want to understand their setup without needing extra equipment.
Baico is for real riders who want practical feedback, not perfect lab conditions.
Practical bike fit feedback.
Record, measure, adjust, and compare your riding position with clear guidance from a short iPhone video.
